Highly recommend this item. Gave as gift and was very well received. Used on first day with great results. Recommended.
This is a great non-stick pan for cooking. I like that it can go in the dishwasher, though sometimes I hand wash it anyway. If any food residue sticks, I either deglaze the pan while cooking (always adds extra awesome flavor to your meal), or let it soak overnight. We use this pan several times a week and I love it.
So far it has been great cook with, specially Paella I recommend this item
Happy
We enjoy using this pan; it is heavy, well-constructed. However, if you cook it too high, it causes items to stick and can damage the stainless steel interior. We had to replace a pan that lost its "non-stick" capability. We also found that it is best to stick with olive or Canola oil as a thin coating in these pans. We used Land O Lakes Saute Express and it caused a huge mess where the lamb chops stuck to the pan. This is I believe the fault of the Saute Express and not the Cuisinart pan itself. Due to the fact that we had to replace our pan, I'm taking away a star. If you're careful in not over-heating the pan, it should last a long time.
I really love the stock pot and I will tell all my friends about it. I am really happy with the 8qt stainless steel stock pot.
Nice non stick surface but doesn’t heat evenly on an electric range.
Well made and has large non stick area for eggs bacon pancakes etc. Cleans well in dishwasher but does take up a lot of room.
If you know how to keep them clean, they are awesome. Now if I only had as good a stove top. :(
Got it to add to my set. Works great.
I've only used it a few times but so far its fantastic. We'll see how it does after a year though.
Love it. Excellent quality, heavy weight. I highly recommend this.
Best pans every. Nice heavy feel with a very nice finish. I use them in my house and got this to go in the camper.
This is a good, solid pot, quite similar to the All Clad d5 series, which I also own. Most All Clad cookware will work with induction cooktops, but several of the larger pots do not (be careful in your research if you are considering one). I have an 8 quart All Clad d5 pot, but I needed a 12 quart pot. The 12 quart All Clad pots that do work with induction are much more expensive than this Cuisinart pot. So, I bought this Cuisinart 12 quart pot. This Cuisinart pot is handsome, solid, and roughly of the same weight as the All Clad d5 line. After using this 12 quart Cuisinart pot and the very similar 8 quart All Clad d5 pot all day yesterday, I notice two minor differences. The top of the All Clad pot fits better and due to its design, seems to capture and direct condensation a little more effectively: when I lift the top off the All Clad all the condensation will drop back in the pot; when I lift the top off the Cuisinart I get water all over the stove top. A minor issue that may well just be my clumsiness. Second, the rivets holding the handles to the pots seem to be better made in the All Clad line: after minor use the rivets in the All Clad still look new; the rivets on the inside of the Cuisinart are already pitted and worn (perhaps from the acid in my chili?? But I had the same chili in both pots.). This also seems minor to me -- the handles are solid and the rivets tight and strong. A little pitting seems cosmetic and minor. All in all, this is a fine piece of cookware at a very reasonable price.
I'm learning to cook on stainless steel and really enjoy this pan.
very good but still sticks a lttle
This skillet is great. Nothing sticks like I thought it would and I'll never wear this beauty out like I did with my non-stick collection. I don't know how I made it through all these years without it. You will never be disappointed with the service this beautiful skillet will give you!
Awesome!
Great quality at an affordable price. Almost too pretty to cook in, but it washes up and retains that beautiful new look.
A perfect pan, great handle and we love it. Judy
High quality cooks even
Heavy, well balanced, heats beautifully, worth the price
Heats well, cleans up easily. Love it!
Awesome, nice looking great size for stocks and soups cleans up easy! I would buy two if I had the space.
As expected! Have had a smaller version for years which I love and this one is living up to it.
Fots perfectly into my saucepan. I'm always happy with Cuisinart products!
Nonstick great size pan!!
Cleans nice. Cooks nice. You need to learn to cook with lower heat than the disk bottom type pots. Handles do stay cool. Not as heavy as my TruClad pots (discontinued).
Exactly as described. Quick ship.
My wife love cooking in it.
This is a sturdy pot that seems to me that heats up fast which I like.
Already have this set, just needed an additional pot this size. Love stainless!
LOVE this skillet and recently ordered the 10" size as well. Well-made, cleans easily, works great on my induction cooktop. Never dreamed I'd pay this much for a skillet, but it's well worth it!
Easy to use. Everything you want a non stick pan to be. I'm ordering another. My wife, who is not normally the cook, loves it.
I have all-clad pans, and these are right on par. I'm busy buying this pan set as I can afford to replace all the cheap pan-ware I have bought over the years.
I love the stock pot! It's a great size for making vegetable or chicken stock and not have it boil over. The thing I didn't like was Cuisinart's product registration form...way too many personal questions...which I left blank.
Nice product for special occasions.
It's a high quality pan, yes, but it's way too heavy to do even simple things like draining out pasta or like even washing it by hand.
A great pot for cooking oatmeal. It does not stick when you wash it afterward. The heat spreads evenly over the bottom of the pot and everything cooks uniformly. No hot spots and the sides stay cooler than my old stainless steel pot. That too makes it easier to clean. It is a bit heavy (the price you pay to get the other benefits) for the size of the handle. I love it and my wife loves it.
Worthy of 5 stars. It arrived in mint condition, I cleaned it and used it right away. I must stay it beats cooking in plastic nordicware by miles. This is made from heavy stoneware and is easy to clean. The lid is made from glass, but the whole unit can be put inside the microwave. It holds the heat for a long time because of the thickness factor. No question Corningware is a generation ahead of the competition. Very happy with it Update: I've been using this Casserole for over two months, Cooking in Corningware compared to Plasticware saves money too and adds some quality in taste. Because the stoneware heats up and holds the heat a lot longer, I seem to use less microwave time that way. If in a Plasticware Casserole the cooking or heating time is 180 seconds, I only need a little over 90 seconds> Turn off the microwave and let the Corningware Casserole sit and wait. It cooked spaghetti and rice better. Heating leftovers in it is most definitely better. Cleaning is a breeze, I had cheese stick to the bottom with marinara sauce, but put in the sink and all came right off with no scrubbing
Very nice
great!
Excellent performance. Even heat distribution. Not quite an Allclad, but great for the price.
Performs as well as the other multiclad pan that I own. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
this is a terrific sauce pot, nice and heavy, thick aluminum core all the way up thru the rim
I would highly say buy this... Well worth the money and its heavy and works just great... I am a happy customer
I had in the past a Fizzler pressure cooker for almost 23 years, just because I lost the pressure ventil on the lid , I couldn't use it anymore. After that I purchased 2 american cheap pressur cooker and those didn't worked out for me , too long of cooking time, burned food, no done food ... I'm very happy and amazed about this product because it is easy to use and to clean. Moreover, I can cook in few minutes with great taste of foods. I enjoy cooking with it. Still need to try out the small cooker.I'm looking forward to it!
I recently purchased this item in 3 & 6 litter sizes. It is a great cooker quick to take pressure without any delays (as with my old one using a lot of energy till it came to pressure). HOWEVER...I am very disappointed for the LOUD whistling sound it makes while on pressure it is SO LOUD and unbearable that you cannot stay in the kitchen and carry on with the rest of your work even when you leave the kitchen you hear it in the rest of the rooms. Particularly bad when you live in a flat. I am more so Disappointed for the fact that this is NOT clearly stated in the description if it is then it's hidden very well as I searched for months for a good pressure cooker reading many descriptions which if it was clearly stated then I would have been able to come across it and not gone ahead with buying this product. What do I do now? Not sure as I was ill for a while and could not raise this concern sooner with seller/amazon to get it refunded that is if they offered it seen as I used the produced and that is the ONLY way you can find out about the LOUD noise it makes.
Long story short. The product does work. I'll admit that. I have two of them. One came used (supposed to be brand new) and the owner(Cliff) of the company tried to make things right. No fault of his. Great guy. The one that came used is actually out performing the newer one. It works perfectly. The newer one on the other hand needs maintenance. It turns it's self off or restarts in the middle of cooking without touching it. If left plugged in it turns on automatically. I placed a pan on the cooktop (which was plugged in but, off) and I stepped outside to throw something in the trash. Then I heard it 'beep' and come on. And when it comes on it's on 100%. It has also come on without there being a pan on it. So, it's a good thing to unplug it like they suggest. Overall though this product does work. Much cheaper than other not so put together cooktops. I would purchase again from this company.
I am in love with this pan. It is very substantial, heavy and large. It heats up beautifully and evenly with no hot or cold spots; is rather deep so grease doesn't spatter out even when frying hamburgers or chicken. I use a tsp. of vegetable oil in the bottom and hamburgers do NOT stick. It even makes a boat load of scrambled eggs with a tiny bit of oil in it, and they do NOT stick. Food comes out tasting really good from this thing. Love the fact that it doesn't have a long handle so I can navigate the stove top more easily without bumping into the pan. After it cools, I place it in the sink and fill it with hot soapy water - after about an hour it cleans up beautifully with dish soap (I don't waste time trying to get it back to its beautiful shine as that is not that important to me even though I do use a hanging pot rack.) It makes great pancakes, boils, sautes, is a terrific fryer, pretty much anything. I have an entire set of multiclad pro series by Cusinart. It is some of the best cookware on the market without the exorbitant price. Truly a family heirloom (my grown children are already fighting over who will "inherit it." ha!) I will never go back to non-stick junk ever again. This is forever stuff.
